Abba ABBA's "Dancing Queen" ranked second in a poll of 2,000 participants, while the band’s song "Mamma Mia" also made an appearance at number 4.
Robbie Williams 'S Angels occupied the third spot, and Bon Jovi’s "Livin' On A Prayer" completed the top five.
Four out of five respondents stated that singing helped improve their mental well-being. Additionally, an enthusiastic 37 percent felt confident about possessing exceptional vocal skills, and surprisingly, 17 percent thought they had the potential to become professional singers with proper coaching.
According to a study conducted by menthol lozenges manufacturer Jakemans, people’s preferred spots for singing include the shower (45 percent), the kitchen (36 percent), and during their commute (35 percent).
Elizabeth Hughes-Gapper, the brand manager for Jakemans, stated: "These findings highlight just how much singing aloud is cherished by our countrymen and the beneficial effects it has on our overall well-being."
