Pakistan, May 17 -- Salma Hayek recently spoke about developing a stronger connection with her long-time friend, Blake Lively, following the decline of her relationship with Taylor Swift.
It should be noted that following her involvement in the legal dispute between Lively and Justin Baldoni, Swift is said to have severed her relationship with the Gossip Girl actress.
During a recent interview with E! News, Hayek openly discussed her connection with Lively as well as her children.
The Mexican actress started by stating, 'I have a close relationship with the children,' adding, 'I had the opportunity to go and play with them.'
For those who may not be aware, Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been married for over ten years now, and they share four children together: James, Inez, Betty, and Olin.
Disclosing the cause of her meeting with Lively, the star from "From Dusk Till Dawn" mentioned, "They had the chance to meet Tía Salma."
As per Cambridge Dictionary, tia is a Spanish word which means "aunt, sister of one's father or mother or the wife of one's uncle." Sharing that Lively's kids can speak some of her native language, she concluded, "Especially a little one. They understand Spanish and they're lovely."
Earlier, Hayek posted an image on Instagram showing herself stirring a pot with Inez cradled in her arm, accompanied by the caption, "When your friends ask you over for dinner but you wind up doing all the cooking."
For those who might not be familiar with their history, the 58-year-old actress and the 37-year-old actress initially crossed paths on the set of the 2012 crime film Savages.
