GBI Special Agent Will Trent succeeds in preventing a bioterrorism attack, thanks to the efforts of some of law enforcement’s best individuals such as GBI Deputy Director Amanda Wagner, Bradford County Sheriff Caleb Roussard, Special Agent Faith Mitchell, and Detectives Michael Ormewood and Angie Polaski.
Unfortunately, not all manage to make it through Season 3 unharmed.
When Amanda (Sonja Sohn) and Angie exchange fire with members of Founders Front, Amanda gets hit in the chest. Despite surviving surgery, her doctors warn that the coming 48 hours will be “crucial.” Meanwhile, Ormewood (Jake McLaughlin) has yet to get a scheduled CT scan through the VA system. He concludes Tuesday’s finale on the kitchen floor during a seizure, as Faith urgently calls for medical help.
In more cheerful news, Angie has not experienced a miscarriage. Will accompanies his former partner to her initial ultrasound appointment, but departs immediately when the baby’s father, Seth, shows up. At this juncture, the main character heads to Amanda's hospital room to support what he considers his family.
This week as well: Caleb reminisces about "the most incredible weekend" of his lifetime shared with Lucy Morales — an unforgettable period that led to the conception of Will. Yet, Caleb assures Will that he wasn’t aware she was expecting him. “From the moment I laid eyes on her, all I wanted was to marry her,” he states. “I attempted reaching out through calls and letters but received no response at all. It seemed clear to me then that 'she wants nothing more to do with me.’” Nonetheless, driven by determination, Caleb aims to bridge the gap created by years unknowingly missed alongside the child he never realized existed; thus, inviting Will to come meet his spouse and children.
