“I prayed many years back and I asked, ‘God, please send someone into my life who will stay with me always,’” Norris shared with his beloved. “Had I known that this special person would end up being all the way across the country, I would have moved sooner. It feels like I’ve lived 26 years of my life without you, and I can’t imagine going one more day without you by my side. Therefore, Lyss, I want to ask you: Will you marry me?”
She was more than delighted to agree.
“I still feel as though I’m in a dream… having a life with you is everything I’ll ever want,” Sheridan remarked. “My love for you knows no bounds, darling. The sound of ‘Mrs. Norris’ has a lovely ring to it.”
When it comes to rings, Sheridan mentioned to Norris that hers was "very attractive."
